AHMEDABAD: Despite a hike in prices of firecrackers this year, Amdavadi shoppers don't have a reason to be disappointed. Small assortments of aromatic firecrackers, musical crackers and jumbo-sized crackers are being sold in the market to lure Diwali enthusiasts.
Paan bomb
Aromatic bombs are new entrants to do away with the irksome smell of gunpowder. This bomb, which gives out a smell of fresh kattha and betel leaves, comes at Rs 350 for six pieces.
Musical symphony
Electrical music chakris and whistling chakris are selling like hot cakes this Diwali.Different musical tunes fill the atmosphere along with the whirling of these electrical chakris. These are available at Raipur cracker market at Rs 125 per box.
Tower pots
Bigger than the largest flower-pot crackers, the Tower Pots are claimed to be the 'world's largest flower pot'. This 20-inch pot is available all over the city at the cost of Rs 400 per piece and keeps going for one whole minute.
Tall sparklers
These sparklers are three feet tall; so big in fact that a 10-year-old kid will have difficulty holding it. But the bright colours make this item irresistible at Rs 275 per box.

The seemingly unending firecrackers in the sky just received more impetus with this big box. 1000 continuous shots are fired which is an upgradation from last year's 500 shots. This magnificent box comes at a high price of Rs 19, 000 per piece.
